A BRIEF HISTORY
Age 5 to 18
Alexander Padei begins as a cellist at age 5. For a time it seems he is destined for Julliard or New England Conservatory. Alex rubs shoulders with the likes of Keith Lockhart and Yo Yo Ma. But life takes a left turn and he leaves the cello behind to attend Harvard University, instead.

Age 18 - 19
Alexander joins renowned acapella group, “The Krokodiloes” in college. He always loved singing and playing guitar in bands, but this experience hit different. They tour internationally over the summer. Alexander comes into contact with House Music for the first time at a club in Shanghai whilst on tour.

Age 19-23
Alexander learns to DJ – and starts a nightlife brand called “The List" to support his growing obsession with music production. He quickly transitions out of House music into other genres like Hip Hop, R&B, Pop and Island
His parents are very clear – this was not what they meant when they said “pursue music.”

Alexander grows a beard. Everyone is pleased.

Alexander begins work at the Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770 at Harvard University, a charitable organization centered in arts education for minority youths. He starts an educational talk series about music – and leads a sort of double life as he begins producing music for local rappers and other artists across the Boston scene, culminating in his (in)famous multi-genre mixtape “Fine; We'll Do It Ourselves”
